Micros 3700 Wireless Termainal Slow to Load RES

We are installing a 3700 system with a WIN32 client. We have a large number of menu items for our gift shop (about 60k). When we Start RES on a wired station it takes about 20 seconds to load. When we Start RES on a wireless station it takes just over 5 MINUTES to load. Transferring a 200MB file off the server takes about 20 seconds wired and 40 seconds wirelessly. It looks to me like the MDSHTTPS Service throttles things back while transferring data to a wireless client.

I've tried:
*turning off encryption
*different wireless card
*connecting server directly to wireless router bypassing my network


Has anyone seen something like this before?
