Micros 3700 Unable to process GC on POS

Hello,

We have one of our restaurant that has issues with their gift cards.
They have 3 POS, and 2 of them are not processing GC.
We can't load or check the balance.

We are getting D706 - Invalid TERMID as an error on the receipt.

We checked if the issue was the card reader, but their Micros ID cards are working well.

We re-did our GC config on the server a couple times, reCAL the POS as well, but we still end up with the same error.

Does this error sound familiar?

what gift card system are you using?

"Invalid TERMID" implies that the workstation number isnt recognised. Is there somewhere you need to configure your workstations on the gift card system?

The gift cards are processed through Eigen.

When we setup the interface, this what we add :

This is standard across our brand, and this is the first time we see that error.

I'm tempted to say the POS itself is the issue, but everything else is working on it.

Im not familiar with their integration.

But go into the SVC configuration utility and see if there is anything in there which is missing.

Call Eigen. Their support is most excellent. They should get you figured out pretty quick.

Is this workstation enabled on Eigen's backend? Contact Eigen to confirm. If this is a seasonal workstations, likely it's not.

Only workstations enabled to process Eigen SVC can process GC.
