Micros 3700 Service Charges

I'm not quite sure how to set up an auto service charge at the moment so we have fixed percentages that we hit for gratuities of 20%, etc. If we do hit the 20% gratuity it will post to the check fine. However, if something else is then added to the bill, the service charge doesn't update to include the amount of the added items. Is there a way to make that happen? Does that require an auto service charge?

If you go into POS Config, Revenue Center tab, RVC Discount / Service, you can set a single automatic service charge per revenue center, which will then update when you split the check, add items, remove items, etc.

I should also mention, you must have 'Add to auto service chg' check under the Price / Totals tab for the menu item classes for the any items (generally all obviously) which should add toward that, or you'll just end up charging $0 to the check.
