Hello,
I am still very new to Micros Programs. I am however slightly techy. I'm having an issue with one of my Micros 3700 Screens. It's not cracked at all but for some reason it's completely unreadable. I know this issue has been fixed in house before. Unfortunately the guy that fixed it is no longer with us. And I can't seem to find any information anywhere online on how to fix it. And Micros wants to charge of a trillion dollars to fix it. So if I can fix it that would be great. Any helpful suggestions would be great. I've included a picture of what the screen looks like as well. Thanks so much! :]

Hard to tell but would say your display screen is failing. You can try and reseat the connection. Or you may need to replace the screen.

I tried to reset the the connection and when I close the Micros OPS the Windows system is also distorted. Am I screwed?

Since its also distorted in windows then its a device issue.
Could be a problem with the screen or a problem with the graphics adapter.
If its a screen issue then you need it replaced.
If you're running a windows XP/7 workstation then it could be a driver issue.

Do you want some custom SIM scripts developed. Contact me via my website

If you feel up to it you can trouble shoot further by taking a working screen from another unit and installing it on the machine that does not work. If that fixes it is the screen and not the adapter. You can buy a new screen for a few hundred dollars and install yourself if that's the case. If its the driver you will need to send the machine in for repairs. Or it may be cheaper to just buy a replacement workstation.

From previous experience, that thick vertical line is no good. The screen is dying. Being that you already checked the connection, I would also try Wildbar's suggestion first before purchasing another screen.
