Micros 3700 reset or e7

I recently purchased a Server and 2 - WS5 stations with res 4.0 on them from an auction. I plan on using them in my new location. I currently have a location running the e7 with a server and 2 - WS5's.
I am s Sportsbar with table service.

My question is .... should I reset up the res software or change over to e7. And if I go to e7 can I just copy the software from my other location. If so how do I do that? I assume I will need to buy some new license keys?

Yes, you will need to purchase license keys either way. They are completely non-transferable. I prefer RES myself, but if you're familiar with e7, you may want to stick with that.

I have Micros support for my other Sports Bar, since I bought the equip from them. I would like to basically duplicate my other install with out paying them. What is the best way to do this? I am a programmer for GUI Control systems, so I am capable of loading software. Anyway I can get a play by play of how to load e7 and copy my BD from my other sportsbar?

E7, at least the version you are likely running, requires physical license keys, one per workstation. If you don't have these USB dongles it won't work.

If you do have it, you'll need to get the software through official channels. There isn't really a public portal that just anyone can download it from; you'll need to find a dealer who is now an Oracle Partner.

You could image the machine but you'll still need the physical dongle.
