Hi,

We are running into another issue related to developing an interface for stored value protocol.

For communicating with Micros, we have setup everything on the server side with an open socket.

We have also set up an interface in Micros and pointed it to the right IP and port number.

Now from the SIM script associated with the interface, when we try to communicate with the server, it does not send anything to the server...

Instead sometime it complains that "interface not active" or "timeout error"

Any help in setting up the interface communication between Micros and a third party service (Sim doc is really light) will be much appreciated?

Thanks, Jitendra

Jitendra,

I am facing the exact same problem as you. I actually didn't find this post until after I started a new thread. Can you point me in the right direction?

Thanks

To communicate through a SIM using the stored value protocols you have to have, I think, the SVC license put in. I know that you definitely have to have the PMS/SIM license if you are communicating with another services using a SIM, and I think if you use SVC you have to have the additional license, though I've never tried it.
