We are using Last Cost inventory NOT Weighted Average Cost. The problem is with the Consolidated Menu Engineering Report. Under the Margin Contribution it totals up the Weighted Average Item Cost.
The problem is that when I run Recipe Assignment & Cost report the Cost Amount is correct, but if I compare it to the Consolidated Menu Engineering report it has a different Cost. I believe it is because it uses the Weighted Average Item Cost.
I was told that it was that way by design. Does anyone know of another report like the Consolidated Menu Engineering Report that will give the information that I need my Last Cost?
