I can't figure out for the life of me why my bar printer will not automatically print cash sales receipts. The restaurant prints them with every cash transaction and want the bar to do the same. They run a different RVC but the payment TOUCH SCREEN they share. Any ideas?

MICROS 3700 Receipt Prints

Look under the system unit/POS device programming options; in there look for printer definitions assigned to a POS station. There is a printer definition called Receipt Printer that's not defined for the bar POS, assign the same printer you see assigned for other print functions IE: report ptr, check ptr, database ptr.

I agree with TobeThor, check that the Printer is setup as a Receipt Printer on the workstation.
