We had a printer fail, I have lost the exact model number but it was an epson M188x (x being the letter I forgot). The new one is a m188d and its plugged into the workstations IDN port. Should I expect this to be plug and play or will the drivers need to be updated? If the drivers do need to be updated is that done through the local workstation or on the main server?

Thanks

Just make sure the DIP switches (two banks) are identical to the old printer, no need for drivers/firmware etc.

Thanks, the dip switches are set the same as the original. What else could be the issue?
