MICROS 3700-POS OPERATIONS ISSUE

I am having a issue with micros 3700 3.2 Sp4.

we have had a few power outages and the ups has had a bad battery. after a few power outs on the system, the "pos operations" part of the Control panel startup does not complete. it is stuck in a "starting" mode. anyone run into this issue?

also. myt credit cards are not batching at night...
