I'm stumped by this one. I tried copying an old backup copy of 'CHK_101.RPT' into D:\Micros\RES\POS\REPORTS, but still getting the same error(s). The machine has been rebooted multiple times but error(s) still appear. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

All the other reports seem to be working fine. The servers indicated that 'sometimes' they get an odd message 'something about flushing checks'. Sorry for the delayed response, I'd turned off e-mail notifications.
Thank you.

It might be the date range that report is set to run for - 1/1/1990 to 12/31/2099.
Try setting it to "today" if this is running before your business date changes, or "yesterday" if it's running after.

If I go into either open or closed check report (as opposed to the 'open check' autosequence report) and put in a valid date range (tried yesterday, day before, etc) it still produces errors. At least when running one of these reports it gives my error #'s and messages.

#707 {report location & filename} Query engine error
#519 {report location & filename} No print window open

I've tried it using the default printer attached to the micros server (default in windows printers/faxes and set as printer in micros 'printer setup' dialog) and then a pdf writer, still no luck. NOTE: All other reports print fine to both default printer and pdf writer.

Thanks

Where did you get the old copy of the report from? The later versions of 3700 can be kind of picky with about the correct report version.

Pat/pmegan, is there a way for me to contact you (online)? I apologize - I'm in dire need of some assistance and based on what I've seen, you're the guy I really need to be talking to. Please assist if willing!

Jason, I can't take do private consulting, it's against T&C's at work, but if you post your question I'm more than happy to try and help.

The report wasn't working prior to my copying it from a backup.
The backup was fairly recent, definitely the same version.
Thnx!

How is the report programmed in report templates? What paremeters? And in Autosequences?
