Micros 3700 New Major Group

Hello,

I created a new major group in micros. It was easy enough. However, when I run my System Balance sales reports at the end of the night, the new group doesn't show up. How to I get it to show up in my reports?

The major group must be added to the tracking groups, based on the crystal report template you are using for the report. The tracking groups cannot be modified unless you first use this sql statement to unlock:

update micros.trk_grp_def set ob_grp_in_use = 'F'

After the tracking groups are updated, you will need to set this back to 'T'.

If you take this approach, I would try to do when you are not open. If the tracking is turned off and you are ringing things in, they won't be tracked during this time.
