Hi, i am a manager at a chinese reasturant. We have a system of Micros operating on micros 3700. I just have a question. Is there any way to track or view all checks that were split and/or transfered by servers? Thanks.

We have a "split / transfer" check report. I can't remember if it's a custom report or not. What version are you running?

I thought the verison was POS micros 3700.

Micros 3700 is the product but there are multiple versions. Open the Micros Control Panel and click Help / About. That will show you the version.

The version in this case probably doesn't matter in this case though. There isn't a standard split/transfer check tracking option in any version that I know of. It would have to be a custom report.

How would I be able to make this custom report?

Custom reports are created outside of Micros. You need a pretty good understanding of SQL and the Micros 3700 database to get this type of data into an export. If you want a formatted report, like those you get at the end of night, you'll also need a good understanding of Crystal Reports and a copy of CR9.

Your Micros dealership might be able to do this for a fee if it's not something you can tackle on your own. There are also third party developers that do this kind of work. Blue Moon Solutions ( and BeyondPOS ( both do good work if you decide to go that route.

Thanks you so much. Do you have any idea of how much blue moon and beyond pos would charge to create this custom report?

I do all my own custom work and have never hired either company directly so can't really to estimate what they'd charge. Most developers for 3rd party applications, (gift cards, online ordering, etc...), don't have any Micros experience so they contract out the Micros integration to companies like these. I've dealt with both in that capacity. It may be worth contacting them though. The worst that can happen is they'll come in too expensive and you just tell them "no thanks".

You could try EJ Organizer. I am not sure if it breaks down by split/ tx but looking at journals may help.
