Hey All! New to the forum. We recently had a KDS monitor go down and bought another to replace it. I cannot for the life of me get the screen calibrated. The screen is an Elo 1928L. I am almost positive that the driver is installed already because we had to replace a different monitor about a year ago with the same exact monitor I am trying to install now. I have contacted Oracle to get tech help from them and have been waiting for a WEEK!! and haven't even heard back from them. MICROS wasn't the greatest company but at least they were quick to arrive and take all of your money for tech support :)

What can I do? Do I need to install the driver to my back office PC? If I do will that make the screen work automatically? Do I need to reset the RCD, if so how do I do that?

I manage to get around pricing, credit card stuff, screen design etc with ease but don't know much at all about programming or driver installation etc. I have read through a ton of other threads but don't see a solution.

I appreciate any help you can give.

The ELO calibration is independent of the MICROS application.

Plug in a USB keyboard and mouse into the RDC so you can minimize the KDS screen and access Windows programs or the control panel. If the driver is installed, it will be in one of those two places to configure.

There is no need to install anything on the back office.
