Micros 3700: How to add new tender options for closing out checks when using external CC reader.

Hey everyone. Long time Micros 3700 user with a decent knowledge of programming throughout the years on it. However, I never really messed with anything like this. So I work for my father and he pulled a fast one when I was on vacation this last week. When I got back he had new credit card processors, his processing company issued one terminal for our three POS units because we needed a chip reader and convinced him because of how cheap it was compared to upgrading through Micros. ANYWAYS, here is my issue:

As of right now, they are closing every check as cash and the reporting is a nightmare. How can I add the 4 credit card types (Visa, Mastercard, AMEX, and Discover) to the pay screen so that way when we have a CC we could just type the total of the check, hit the CC type then whatever is over the amount will then be recognized as a tip? Any information would be greatly appreciated on this! Thank you.

Just copy and paste your cash tender and change the name to Visa, Amex etc. Add buttons to these tenders on your payment touchscreen. The big part is you will need to add these new tenders to your tacking groups and your reports. Also look at your old credit card tender setup and use the same settings to track gratuities.

Yeah that's essentially where I was going to start. I just want them to go to the right place as far as Visa, MC, Amex, Discover when it comes to reporting. Also that they close as a CC not cash and the gratuity goes to the right place. Thank you! If anyone else has a solution please feel free to help.
