I have an interesting problem that I cannot find a solution to.

I have a Fixed Price Meal setup that serves two people so the meal requires two entrees to be ordered. Along with other required courses for the meal, I have setup two entree Courses (Entree 1 and Entree 2). All available entrees are members of both Courses. When two entrees are rung in as the course selections without any condiments (neither required nor allowed) both entrees become part of the Fixed Price Meal and all is good. However, if the first entree rung in has any condiment rung in with it (required or allowed) the second entree rung in is not considered part of the Fixed Price Meal and posts its regular menu price to the check. It seems that every condiment rung in with parent items of the Entree 1 Course then counts towards the requirement for the Entree 2 Course.

I think I have confirmed this behavior by pressing the FPM Course touchscreen button for Entree 2 immediately after ringing in Entree 1 and a condiment. The system states that "Entree 2 Selection Completed, Continue Course Entry? Yes/No". If I ring in Entree 1 with no condiment and then press the same Entree 2 FPM Course button it goes straight to the available entrees and functions as expected.

I have tried assigning the condiments to different Courses hoping the system would count them towards the different course however it seems to stay with the parent course.

Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

Never experienced this issue, but you might be able to work around this problem by not using the FPM Course touchscreen button... link the course menu items to a SLU instead.
