Hello everyone!
Thanks!
Paul
I am posting here for the first time because I have a Micros issue that I am unable to solve on my own. My company recently upgraded Micros to 5.5 and it has created a sort of delay from the moment a payment is selected to process to being able to ring up the next customer. We are set up a bit different because we are a hospital cafeteria and don't use a lot of the kitchen management or table serving features. This makes it imperative for our cashiers to get to the next person as quickly as possible because our hospital employees eat here as well as guests/vendors/etc. Currently the delay is around 6 to 8 seconds and ideally it would be around 2 or 3 seconds maximum for normal daily use. I am curious if there are any driving processes or hardware I should consider that would be in play from the moment a payment method has started processing to the moment the cashier is able to ring up the next person.
Thanks!
Paul
