I am having some trouble reconfiguring how my kitchen checks print up. My goal is to see checks print as follows:

1 CFS Breakfast
O/M
Rye
No
Gravy
No
Bacon
Add
Links

Currently, what I am encountering looks like this:

1 CFS Breakfast
O/M
Rye
2 No
Gravy
Bacon
Add
Links

This wouldn't be a problem, but when there are large numbers of preps, a server might ring in the following:

1 Top Sirloin Dinner
Med Rare
No
Potatoes
Extra
Gravy
No
Vegetables
Add
Dinner Roll

But it would look like this

1 Top Sirloin Dinner
Medium Rare
2 No
Potatoes
Extra
Gravy
Vegetables
Add
Dinner Roll

Big confusing mess. So I'm trying to STOP the system from automatically combining my condiments. I have tried deselecting "Consolidate parent items" in favor of "No Consolidation" but that isn't resolving my problem.

Does anyone have any advice on how to resolve this problem? Thanks!

Make sure your "No" is set to menu class as a condiment.
Try the "Sort allowed condiments" above where you set the "Consolidate parent items"
I believe one of those changes will fix it up for you.

All, check to make sure that in the configurator, under the order device in question, in the Options tab, that Multiple condiments per line is NOT checked. You also need Print on Condiment's Line checked.

I have tried all of the things suggested above... All of the preps, I made sure, are listed as condiments. I have it set to "sort allowed condiments" amd Multiple condiments per line is not checked. I do have Print on Condiments Line checked. It still is giving me the same display... [ponder]

Try using condiment prefixes for items like "no", "sub", "add", etc... This will cause these items to link to the modifier and print as one item.

So entering this:

1 Top Sirloin Dinner
Med Rare
No
Potatoes
Extra
Gravy
No
Vegetables
Add
Dinner Roll

Should print like this

1 Top Sirloin Dinner
Medium Rare
No Potatoes
Extra
Gravy
No Vegetables
Add Dinner Roll

Here's how to implement it.
Go to your menu item classes and copy your non-priced modifier class. (select it, press F5 then F6)
Rename the new class Condiment Prefix
In the General Options tab check the Condiment Prefix box.
Assign this class to the above modifier menu items.
