Micros 3700 - Changing TCP Port Number for an interface

I'm trying to change the port number of an interface. Even after I changed it in POS Configurator\Interfaces dialog window (in Interface TAB for that particular interface number), Micros is still looking at old port number. In fact the server is localhost.

Is there any where else I need to make this port number change for Micros to start looking at the new port number?

Please assist.

Are you sure that the service is listening on the new port that you are changing it to? Micros does not dictate which port it runs on.

If yes, then try reloading the database via control panel after changing it.
