We are using a weighted item to check out bowling lanes. They enter the time and it calcates the rest. The problem is that on the customer receipt it says price per pound. I have yet to find a way to change this to say hours. Anyone know if its possible? If it isn't possible, does anyone know of a way to at least make it not print the weight on the receipt and to only show the final price?

Have you tried the translation tool? It's pretty much the sledgehammer approach, but it may do what you need.

I've looked at it but honestly don't know how it works. Didn't spend much time trying to figure it out.

You basically copy the English language file and make changes to the new one. Search for "pound" and change the instances to "hour". Then you have to assign it as the language file. Don't remember if its by System, RVC, workstation or employee though. I did something similar years ago when I worked for Micros with a chain of magazine shops.

Hmm. I'll give it a try on the lab. Thanks for the info.

Hmm... where are the language files actually stored...?

Never mind - fairly straight forward. I just don't see any way to translate the lb that shows up in, eg:

1.000 lb @ 1.02/lb

Oh well I guess...
