I am trying to change the merchant ID on a MICROS 3700 that is using the CAPMS driver. This seems like something that should be easy, but for the life of me I cant find where the configuration is. Does anyone know how to make a change to this driver? Where can I find the current Merchant ID, Bin number, authorization numbers. etc etc etc. so I can change them?

POSCONFIG, Devices, CA/EDC Drivers....
Is that what you are looking for?

That is probably what he is looking for, however if you are changing credit card processors, You will need to get an entirely different driver installed on your server, most likely. Not all credit card processors have a proprietary driver for micros.

I don't belive that when using the PMS driver these settings are on the Micros server, though I could be wrong. CaPMS means you're processing your credit cards through the PMS rather than on the Micros server itself.

Strangely enough this is at a stand alone restaurant, not a hotel. No PMS. It is currently setup and using the CaPMS driver and all the tender medias for credit cards link to the driver. When I look in the CA/EDC drivers area and investigate that driver for merchant ID and such, there is very little information and it is incomplete. So I wondered if it calls an .ini file or a config file elsewhere or something.

Well, there would be an interface to go with it. CaPMS always has to be pointed to an interface record.
