Hello,

I'm experiencing a problem on a Micros 3700 system.

I have started using the Management Procedures to add availability count and blocks to our rather extensive database of items. I can easily get the block and count to show up on the till for all SLU based items but the buttons created on screens for the same menu items will not show any of the blocks or counts. Should you order an item from these screens that has, in fact, been ticked 'unavailable' the machine will prompt you but you won't know till then (at which point it may be too late).

Is there any way of getting the buttons created in the Touchscreen Designer to show the availability of an item instantly?

Thanks in advance for your help.

If you are using a hard coded button, the only way to get that button to reflect that the item is sold out is to actually go into the touchscreen designer and assign an icon. That is definitely one of the pitfalls of using hard coded touchscreen button.
