I ahve installed a fresh copy of micros 3700 5.4 MR2 on a server.
everything seems to be working fine, except when I run end of night report in Autosequences and Reports, it throws an error 'registry Editor" "Cannot export D:\Micros\License_codes\LicenseCodes.reg: error".
Please see attached.
any ideas, please?
thanks

Youe have a custom batch file,(C:\Micros\Res\Pos\Scripts\RES5FilesaveD.bat), that exports your license codes to a text file set up as step 11 in your EON. That's casuing the problem. It looks like that batch file is trying to write a file to a folder called D:\Micros\License codes\. Make sure that folder exists, and that the system account, or whatever account is running your autosequences, has full access to it.

Thank you pmegan.
You are right this may fix the issue.
I used these scripts form old current server which had D drive as USB backup drive.
I am not sure why this Batch file was created to point these items to D drive.
As I don't have D drive on this new server, I will change the "D" to "C" and point those links to the respective folders.
Do you think it will be safe and OK to point the each items to C drive instead D drive?
thanks again.

Sure, that should be fine. Make sure you create the directory structure your script will need, C:\Micros\License_codes.
I usually use variables in my scripts for the file paths, and build in the commands to create the necessary folders if they don't exist.
