Micros 3700 4.1 blank report issue

Hello I am having a problem with a micros 4.1 db where the report explorer seems to be freezing during the load of inventory related reports.

The issue first occured when the sql could not resolve a declared waste item. After correcting the problem in the DB and a full posting run completed with no error the reports begin to load the template then just hang with the hourglass and never actually populate with any data. I can not find errors occuring in the dbconsole durring the attempted report explorer session and i have let it run for over an hour with nothing happening as far as i can tell.

Any ideas?

Have always found Report Explorer to be finiky with running Product Management reports. Let the PM end of day run. Then try running the report limiting it to 1 day and 1 or 2 groups of menu items. If it runs try expanding your paramters until you find what its hanging on. Once you find the issue see if something is not set-up right. Alot of the times its an issue with unit measures being changed. And most often i find you cant fix the time period you are trying to run the report for if you do find the issue. Just make sure it will work for the future.
