Hi. I was wondering if it was possible to do the following on a Micros 2700:
Say you have a Bloody Mary key. When you press it, you can select a vodka, either via a condiment-style screen or an NLU style pop-up window.
The Bloody Mary key doesn't have a price, or has a price of 0. When you select the vodka, that price is used. The name of the vodka and the words "Bloody Mary" must be printed on the remote printer.
This is sort of like a reverse condiment. Of course, I could implement it the traditional way where you select a vodka then have a Bloody Mary liquor prep key. But I'd like to do it this way because... well, just to see if it can be done, really.
I think you could also do it where you have a Bloody Mary menu item that requires a condiment and define vodkas as condiments with prices, but that doesn't seem clean to me. You would have to define two menu items for each vodka: a regular version and a condiment version. However, if you could define a single item for each vodka that would work in either situation, that might be good.
At any rate, any thoughs on the matter?
Thanks
