I have that problem today. a workstation uses, it liberates, the times leaves and if other to use the same file or registration of the mistake 9/025.
I used cbl_alloc_mem and it didn't solve.
what do make?

In Microfocus COBOL, with a file status of 9/xxx, the xxx is a Microfocus COBOL run-time error code. 025 is listed as an operating system data error. I suspect that the sever is not getting the message to free the lock on the file. I have gotten this error with Novel. The only solution I have found is to shut down the system and reboot. Pretty drastic!
