microcode CL030829 probleme in 7025 6f1 system

hi
i have IBM 7025 6f1 (P620) system with CL021213 microcode level and i have download the last microcode from ibm site
the CL030829 lelvel
i have test the cheksum but why i have start the installation with update_flash -f /.../CL030829.img i receive the message
you will continue? i have tape yes and the systeme reboot
when my systeme finisch to boot
the microcode lelvel is the same. the new microcode is not installed
and the system not give the error message

The instructions on the IBM web site says to use these commands:

cd /usr/lpp/diagnostics/bin
./update_flash -f /path/to/image/file/CL030829.img

When you were rebooting, did you see the LED display alternating between 99FF and 99FD?

Have you looked at your bootlog to see if you have any messages in there? (Assuming the bootlog is big enough to not overwrite during a boot.)
