I put this in the AV discussion forum but thought I'd try here as well because I'm stuck;

Hope someone can help with this. We use Officescan version 7.0 and we noticed that 1000 PCs had gone missing from the web console and most others were offline. I have followed several documents from the Trend (awful) web site but could not get the PCs to register again as agents in the console. These docs suggested running ipxfer to get the client registered.
I have now re-installed Officescan on the 2003 box with identical settings and still cannot get clients to register.

Any ideas??

Not sure how to help but we use OfficeScan 7 on our network as well (win 2003 also). Anyway in the \\server\ofscan folder, if you dig deep there is a tool that lets you select all network users and have the office scan server send out the batch again to reinstall/reconnect them all the office scan server. Can't remember the folder or name of app off the top of my head.

Are you thinking of ipxfer?? If so tried that with no joy.

I discovered that windows 2003 servers that I push officescan client to they show up in the console but XP clients never do, even though I have the releveant ports open and have even tried it with the Windows firewall turned off
