Micosoft Word 2003 getting theword "she" being typed inby itself ???

I get this once in a while it happening now rithg in the middle where the uros is the word she macially appears. I was awy from my desk and came back tand there were 20-30 of them in a row. I can press ctrl-Z and get rid of them. then I sat there a few seconds doing nothing and they started up again. I deleted those then it started again.
is this some kind of hijack I got? I think it happens in Notepad too.
I know this computer has a Firefox Java script Google browser hijack but I put up with it after trying for weeks eveything I can find?
The thought of re-formatting this machine is mind boggling since it has been up for 6 year now.
Any ideas?
