Hello everyone, We have two micom marathon 5kt pro's with the voice over technology. We currently connect the remote micom via a dedicated data line via the A1 port connected to a kentrox modem. the data line is very expensive and we have decided route over the internet instead so I got two IRM router boards one for the local and one for the remote micom. I am thinking of connecting them to the hub and then configure our internet router to treat the micom as a special protocol. How would i go about doing this? Is it at all possible?

i would not advise that , the micom routing engine does not like it and you will experience major problems, plus i am not sure it can be done cos of the ppp passwords.

Try using a cisco 800

Hello:

Not sure if you still have your Marathon. If you do,
the Marathonstore has a new product called the
"magnum router" and that will allow all legacy
MICOM traffic to go via "ethernet" to any "IP"
connection.
