Hi all.
I would like to install Micollab for internal use only to use softphones for Micc.
When I test the Deployment Profile it fails MiCollab Client Deployment test from public internet and Connection test from public internet to MiCollab Client Service. What is the work around? Will the softphones still work?

Hi Tinos

It will work - ignore the Deployment test as that is only relevant for external connections.

Hi Valamagules.
The user does not receive a deployment email from "miteleasydeploy" and therefore cannot bring the softphone into operation. It gets stuck on "Enter Authentication Key". How can this be resolved?

You can set the username and password manually on the client. Simply double click on the Mitel logo on the client and it will display the fields where you can input the FQDN, username and password.

Note: The deployment email is sent by the Mitel Deployment servers and hence the MiCollab needs to be able to route to these external servers if you require it to generate deployment emails. Please refer to the Install guide for this .

Hi Valamagules.
Thank you for your response. I have done several Micollab installations however they were not for Hotdesk users. I now get error 41. Testing port 36008 is successful. Micollab server and client are on the same LAN and there is no firewall.

A few things to check/test -

Is the FQDN mapped correctly to the internal IP of the MiCollab server?

Are you able to login to the Web Client with a user ?

Does the TNA pass all the required internal ports?
Can you paste TNA result here?

Does the FQDN in the Deployment Profile matches the Server name?

Yes user can login the web client portal. Also FQDN in the Deployment Profile matches the Server name.

Failing to paste TNA results.

Your test results looks good to be honest.

I suppose if you can log in via the Web Client than it should work with the App - that’s is strange it didn’t.

Do you have a valid Web SSL cert installed?

Can you check if the MBG blade has the Applications Integration field populated? (I know this is a shot in the dark)
