Hello,
I'm installing MiCollab onto a brand new server, so this is fresh install and new AMC license. This server will reside on the internal network with access to WAN via the default gateway. IP addresses are set correctly (192.168.10.10 for Server, 192.168.10.1 for gateway.
When testing the connection to the internet, the server says that the connection is good.
When trying to activate Servicelink to the AMC, it comes up with an error saying: Connection to AMC failed. "write failed: broken pipe".

I have connected to the server via putty and attempted to telnet into sync.mitel-amc.com on port 22, and it connects. but then it says connection closed by foreign host almost immediately.

we are running Mitel Standard Linux 10.1.43.0, with kernel 2.6.32-504.8.1.el6.i686 on i686

I have no idea what this error means and can't come up with any work arounds to try.
Any advice?

I have found that when having problems like you are describing it helps to start over. Deactivate the service link and then reactivate it. This is done from the Status page. Just note your ARID so you can re-enter it. If that doesn't work you might want to have the Hardware ID cleared and then try to sync again.

Yeah, we defaulted the system, and started a brand new install.
Somehow we seemed to be missing / corrupted files, because now it connects fine.

Thanks for your help
