MiCollab PC client won't start

MiCollab PC client (9.7.112) won't start up. I've reinstalled 4 times and repaired once.
When I open it, I see the icon in the tray, but the app doesn't open. When I hover over the icon, it disappears.
I reinstalled from the saved MSI and from the link on the deployment email.

Other user have reported issues as well, but mostly with the webclient and "No Configuration" message when they try to activate the sofphone.

It works fine on my company laptop as do the webclient and smartphone client.
Thoughts?

Thanks, this works, but looks like we're having other issues with MiCollab today. Users getting No Config, can't change Availability, Availability icon greyed out, turning on softphone doesn't turn it off on other devices, etc.

Our partner instructed us not to use client downloaded from the web as it may not be compatible with our version. Is there a compatibility table somewhere?

Unless your server is very old ( pre version 9) the latest version will be compatible.
we have found that its the best first step when having client issues.
we now provide the link direct to customers so their it can use it before reporting issues to us.


has the pabx been restarted recently - sounds like the Micollab server might need a restart.

best to grab a SOS logs first as sometimes micollab server restart will purge required logs should the problem persist.

has the provider logged a mitel ticket for the issues?

If I never did anything I'd never done before , I'd never do anything.....

 
Rebooting MiCollab fixed yesterday's issue where no one's MiCollab was working. We sent logs to Mitel and don't yet know the cause.

We're still trying to get 6 folks working that were an issue prior to yesterday, none of this related to my original post which was my own MiCollab PC client wouldn't open. Installing 9.7.117 fixed my original issue.

The ongoing issue for 6 people where it's appending the email addresses with @mitel.<domain>.com seems to be Cloudlink or SSO issue. We've gotten our data security and Azure folks involved.

Sounds like the WSP bug that's in 9.6 - 9.7 properly fixed in 9.7 SP1 if its not been patched for SO7480 bSO7605
Also, do you clone any of your Windows machines ?

If its not broke tweak it..
