MiVoice Business Express (MiCollab v7.3.0.202 and MiVB Blade 8.0 SP1 14.0.1.29). The MiVoice Business Blade is clustered with another MiVB also 8.0 SP1.

The two MiVBs are part of a cluster and sharing of forms and telephone directories is done correctly, even if you look at the MiCollab User and Services all users are shown, even the ones that have been created on the remote node.

However, the PC Clients only show those users that have been created on the MiCollab/MiVB Node.

Is there a way that the MiCollab Clients show all users of the cluster, regardless what node they belong to?

If yes, please can you share how?

Cheers,

Daniel

Is the remote node added as an icp in the MiCollab?
Are you using integrated or standalone MiCollab server settings?

Hi AlphaMann, yes the remote node is listed as an ICP in the MiCollab.

I don't know what you mean with integrated or standalone server settings. Note that this is a MiVB Express (A MiCollab that includes a blade of MiVB, everything on one virtual machine). I have clustered the MiVB inside the MiVB Express with a CX Controller, and when you set the cluster everything is shared via SDS.

So, that CX controller shows in the Network Elements of all MIVBs as well as in the MiCollab PBX Nodes.

Regards,

Daniel

So do all users show up in the mas under users and services?

yes they do show under user and services, all of them.

but not shown on MiCollab Clients.

In MiCollab Client Service -> Config MiCollab Client Service -> Corporate Directory, only the users created in MiCollab User and Services are shown.

So, What I'm hearing is only those devices that are configured in the Micollab show in the Micollab client?

If that is true, can I ask why you might think it would work otherwise?

If you want the other systems to show, they need to be synced with Micollab and licensed appropriately.

What's most important is that you realise ... There is no spoon.

Hi KWB,

Imagine a simple scenario, MiVB (MXe) and MiCollab (Integrated MiVB/MiCollab). Your users will probably be added using "User and Services". That then will create the users on the 3300, etc. etc.

Up to here all users will be shown on the MiCollab Client.

If you now go to the 3300 and add a few analog users, those analog users will not be shown on the MiCollab Client.

Those analog users are part of the enterprise, why can't they be shown on the micollab client?

if you now make this more complex, and create a cluster of 3300s, why can't you see the users that belong to a remote node?

thank you, regards,

daniel

Under each of the missing users (assuming they are not analog) under the MiCollab tab are they assigned the default profile?
