MiCollab Mobile Client Softphone unauthorized Error

Issue with mobile client softphone connecting:

Mitel 3300 6.0 SP3, MiCollab server version 6.0.220.0 and client 6.0.331.24320 off of MAS/UC server 5.0.218.0 and MBG 8.0.27.0

A little history first...We have had mobile clients working fine in the past but after moving users to another Mitel controller in the cluster, I had trouble getting the softphone on the mobile client iphone/ipad to connect successfully. The error is "softphone unauthorized". While the issue has been noted as a credentialing problem and has since been resolved. I have a problem with the changes I had to make to get it to work properly. It appears that when the user launches the desktop client and changes the password the initial setup of the MBG SIP device/Teleworker settings client passwords conflict thus resulting in the softphone error. I have had to send the welcome email and ask the subscribers to reply with what they changed their password to and then update the MBG set-side password to match. In short, I do not want to have to do this. It seems like it would be resolved if the users were not prompted to change the password that was set in the UC server initially. Any thoughts you all might have to turn off that password change prompt would be appreciated or if you have other thoughts as to why this has occurred, please let me know. Thanks in advance!
