Did you try the old good reboot?

BAZINGA!

I'm not insane, my mother had me tested!

Yes a reboot was one of the first thing done and the issue persists.

SDS sync still working?
I have had this in the past but I cannot recall what it was.

has this ever worked

is the network elemnt on the Micollab setup properly with a username and password that has application access ?

If I never did anything I'd never done before , I'd never do anything.....

Error was resolved by syncing micollab with the amc.
Another challenge has come up were users fail to setup their micollab clients on smart phones.
The client keeps asking for a password after they has scanned the QR code or entering the password provided in the donotreply email.
What needs to be done to correct this?

if the users are ad authenticated then they must enter their windows password teh first time they connect

the Micollab server doesnt know what that is so it cannot be bundled into the client

if they are manually set passwords ( not AD) then the client will conenct automatically as the password is known and bundled

If I never did anything I'd never done before , I'd never do anything.....

Billz66 is that also applicable to the client on android smart phone or only for windows desktop?

There is no Active Directory integration.

so when you have created the device , have the users logged in anywhere else ( windows) and change dthe password first , if they have go to the client deployment blade and resync teh account and redeploy it ( should send a new email)

1. First time User installs micollab client for mobile app on android and runs it
2. Client app requests: Enter Authentication Key or Scan QR code
3. User scans QR code (stage 1)
4. Client app accepts QR code and comes back showing: Enter Password (stage 2)

Q: Which password is being asked for here?
Q: After scanning the QR code mustn't the client connect?

Note that no user has managed to setup client because of the password request.

This sounds like the basics are not done well.
This is not a user password but I think the certificate is not installed it not installed correctly.

When I check the certificates from the SSL Checker website they all have green ticks

Did you put in a password? I wonder if a blank password is allowed.

still asks for a password and I still dont know it.
a blank wont do as the submit button doesnt come when blank.

what is the micollab client user account password ?
are you using a default one or random.

its asking for this

When I generate a password or create one then save, an email is sent to the user from donotreply@micollab with the Login ID and password just created. I then click Deploy MiCollab Clients to send an email from noreply@mitel.easydeploy.net in order for the user to get a QR code, the user then receives a 2nd email from donotreply@micollab with Login ID and no password.
At this point the user scans the QR code and then gets prompted for password, entering the created password above fails.

is it not the teleworker password in the deployment section. if the user is on the LAN they dont need a deployment profile
