Hi All,

I have an ACD user that is having issues connecting to MiCollab client. He now only gets the error "Your connection with MiCollab Client Service has been lost."

The user also uses Ignite which he is having no issues with. I have checked that his handset is still connected up correctly and he is having no internet issues. Password and Username are still the same as he has previously used on the account.

Any idea why this one user is having issues? everyone else is still working as normal.

Thanks,
JCCDM

Just to confirm, Controller is a 3300 - 7.2 running active 13.2.0.17
MiCollab Client is running 6.0.510.1

Thanks

There are issues with Windows updates and V6 MiCollab. You can edit the registry and get this working, but in the long run MiCollab needs and upgrade.

Thanks jpruder. An upgrade has been pushed to the client on many occasions but they are resistant and not sure one faulty user is enough to persuade them unfortunately. I will look into the registry as a temp fix.

Cheers,
Justin

Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\SecurityProviders\SCHANNEL\KeyExchangeAlgorithms\Diffie-Hellman]
"ClientMinKeyBitLength"=dword:00000200

The above is the registry patch that I have used.

Thanks jpruder, I have seen that one on another site too, I have forwarded to the IT guys as I don't have full access to update this. I will post to let you guys know if it fixes the issue.

Cheers,
