MiCollab Client just on the LAN

Hi

I have no teleworker MBG, trying to get MiCollab client working for users at home over the company VPN. I can access the micollab ( 8.0) server-manager and portal page. AWC is OK I just cant get the MiCollab client to connect, I get error 11 cannot connect to redirect server.

I have setup the softphone with UC endpoint it has standard UCCv4 license. Does it need to have a deployment profile. I have set one up called LAN with the teleworker option un-ticked.

any help much appreciated
 
From MiCollab deployment help:
The Client does not have internet access to the Redirect Server. Access could be prevented by a firewall on the corporate network. Try to access from a web browser using the same device. If public access is not allowed from the local Wi-Fi network, switch off Wi-Fi on the device for the initial deployment.

Could also be that the VPN network is not added as an allowed local network in the MiCollab network settings.
 
I have seen some sites where the subnet that the VPN uses ( the address the VPN assigns to the user) is not routing to the subnet containing the MiCollab server. Not sure if that applies here.
