Hi,

This MiCollab at version 9.1 fails when doing online upgrade.

I also tried downloading all blades from MOL and started the upgrade manually. It is asking me for:

Please insert CD/DVD with one of the following volume labels:
AWC_9.2.0.20
MiCollab_PCClient-9.2.30
MiCollab_WebClient-9.2.30
MiVoice_SfB-9.2.0

Where can I find those blades? I don't see them in MOL within MiCollab 9.2 section.

Also, I tried deploying a new ova and restore but everything related to NuPoint did not work.

Have any of you succesfully upgraded to 9.2?

Thank you, Daniel

you might need to contact support... I'm only seeing the following under 9.2

Client Deployment 9.2.0.1
MiCollab Client Server 9.2.0.26
Mitel Standard Linux 11.0.72.0
MiVoice Border Gateway 11.0.0.304
NuPoint Messenger 20.2.0.11 DVD1
NuPoint Messenger 20.2.0.11 DVD2
Suite Application Services 9.2.0.26
Virtual MiCollab 9.2.0.32

I have deployed a new ova and restored from running server but same result when installing NuPoint blades. Note I have to manually install additional baldes as this system has got Record-a-call.

I think something is wrong with one (or both) NuPoint CDs.

I have raised a ticket with support. Let's see what they say, I'll let you know.

Regards,

daniel

I usually get that exact same error when doing MiVB-X migrations. Be sure to license MiCollab and reboot it before trying to install the NuPoint add-ons.

what were you upgrading from - was it micollab version 8 ?
if so there was a patch that should be applied to the new server , then try restore from running again

SO5381 “MiCollab restore fails on restoring NuPoint database”

If I never did anything I'd never done before , I'd never do anything.....

the AWc 9.2.0.20 blade has also just been published ..
the person thats looking after the downloads needs to be shown the door because lately they havent been doing a great job

It worked!

I applied the patch to the old server.

I took a backup of the old data base.

Installed a brand new ova, then licensed and then installed all the blades. Then applied the patch as well.

Then restored.

After all that amc sync failed so I deactivated ARID, did a clear on the Amc then resynched succesfuly.

NPoint data base is now working fine.

Cheers all

Supposedly they have had a few issues with that - predominantly with upgrades of Express to Split micollab / mivb
Thats due to the jump from 8 to 9

recommendation was to always add the patch before doing the restore if you want to be trouble free
