Hi
I have MiCC v8 with IVR starter pack and remote/redundant starter pack/ I have 100 active and 100 redundant ports. I have 2 MCD v8 which will be clustered.
Is it right that I program 100 ports on MCD1 and 100 on MCD2 and program all 200 in the IVR hunt group.
Thanks for any help

Right when you say 100 ports on each MiCD.

Here's how:

You will build an MiCC server and associate both MiCD to here.
You will create Messaging ports of 100 on MICD 1 and 100 redundant ports on MICD 2.You will need to have two VWM port HG, one with 100 in MICD 1 and the same in MICD 2. You will associate the first VWM HG to this IVR. Also add the second HG to the IVR serving as redundant ports.

You will build a second server using the Remote MICC package from the Main MiCC server. You will sync this remote MICC server to the Main MiCC Server.
You will associate the the same IVR ports to here.

Now you have a fully redundant solution.

Note, VWM HG should not have a secondary PABX assigned.

Only problem is if you end up requiring advanced ivr ( callback , collected digits data dip)
if you have used all those 'free' ports you would have to purchase an equivalent of IVR ports which would cost a fortune

If I never did anything I'd never done before , I'd never do anything.....

Thanks for the replies
Sorry I don't understand what you mean by add second HG to IVR serving as redundant ports
