Hi,
Sorry for my question.
I'm a newbie in snmp.
Problem :
We have a problem with a provider.
From time to time the link between two site cause us error.
The link is a lan extension on ATM.
The link is plug in a switch that don't belong to us.
The error is between:
-> that switch - The provider - and the other switch at our other location <-.
It's causing bad crc but we don't see it because it's locate between the two switches that we have no control over.
But if my logic is OK, we should be able to see some request to resend those IP packets.
It must be log somewhere on our routers, that are on our side of the switch. Our router -> switch -> The Provider <- swtich <- our router.
Question :
Is there a mib or something that we can interrogate to get some stats on request to resend those IP packets ?
And eventually put a threshold on it to be alerted.
Thanks.
Ben
