I understand that I need to do the following for mgcp

mgcp
mgcp call-agent ........ service......version 0.1
ccm-manager mgcp

If I want CCM to download everything else I need the following ?

ccm-manager config server x.x.x.x - ip address of ccm
ccm-manager config

If I have FXS port on the GW as well do I need the following

Add the MGCP applicationciation to the Dial Peers for the ports or can I just configure them in CCM ?

Is this correct ?

SRST

I have a bundled SRST from Cisco, how do I know the S/W level of it - sh ver? what do I look for ?

Also If I have SRST with the router do I just need to add the following

ccm-manager fallback-mgcp
.
.
.
.
application
global
service alternative default - for h323 only

MGCP adds all the MGCP dial-peers. You do not add anything manually. That is what MGCP does.

the version of SRST is tied to the IOS version you are running on the router.

ccm-manager fallback-mgcp only enables SRST. you still need to configure it to work correctly including h323 dial-peers if you are using MGCP. Which sounds like you are.

Here is an SRST doc for you:

Depending on how fancy you want to get with SRST the config can be simple or complicated. It can be configured so the users don't even know they are down as far as features go.

I usually set up SRST to be able to make and receive calls as well as basic feature functionality.
