I'm looking for the recovery files for MFIM50A systems.

I have the files for MFIM50B if anyone wants to trade my B files for their A files?

Would also be interested in any other recovery files anyone has?

I'm still struggling with this, just to confirm; I need the following files:

ipecs50a_50Gs.yaffs2
ipecs50a_kernel.yaffs2

If anyone can help please do so.

We don´t sell the 50A but I think you need three files:
1. small_boot.bin
2. 92M_Kernel.rom
3. fs-mfim50a-60Bo.yaffs2

If you have a mail address where I can send 15MB,
I will send you the files.

xs650,

Those files are for release three hardware, and cannot be loaded onto the release two due to differences in the command prompts.

Thank you for your help anyway.

are you sure?
according the recovery doc the hardware issue is just existing for
MFIM100/300 and 600 but not for MFIM50 and 1200.

I have used the 6Bo recovery files with my 50B HW1 without any problems.

How peculiar, perhaps the command prompts I was given were incorrect.

I've got the files already, but what info on the string commands do you have?

I'll be away from the computer for the next four hours.

Try these strings where 10.10.10.40 is your tftp.

Bootloader

setenv ipaddr 10.10.10.50
setenv serverip 10.10.10.40
setenv armbootname small_boot.bin
update
->select 0 select 1 select 1
Restart the board.

Kernel

setenv ipaddr 10.10.10.50
setenv serverip 10.10.10.40
setenv kernelname 92M_Kernel.rom
update
->select 4 select 0 select 1

root file

setenv ipaddr 10.10.10.50
setenv serverip 10.10.10.40
tftpboot a00000 fs-mfim50a-60Bo.yaffs2
nand erase.part rootfs
nand write.yaffs a00000 rootfs $(filesize) raw

Good luck!

That did it, thanks very much!
I've got a pile of MFIM's as tall as a cat to recover now!

xs650 can i get those recover y files aswell please?
1. small_boot.bin
2. 92M_Kernel.rom
3. fs-mfim50a-60Bo.yaffs2
