you need to go from 5 to 5.5 with a special upgrade file . you can then go to from 5.5 to 6.0
to be honest the mfrim50 is a old unit you cannot get license files for and has stopped bing made what 5 years ago now . it has been replaced with the ucp100 .
you are best not wasting your time and just either buying a new one on ebay . they are pretty cheap . or getting a newer ucp 100 .
