Hi All,

I have read several threads; notably this one : Regarding the ENBLOCK timer and SIP trunks.

I have adjusted our timing settings and informed users to press the # key to send numbers down the SIP Trunk.

I am wondering if that limitation is still in place?
Does the MFIM-100 support overlap dialing on a SIP Trunk with newer firmware?

Or is it a hard limitation of the system?

Currently on firmware
MFIM/AU95M-F.1Dq SEP/16
Boot Version-7.0Ca NOV/15
Kernel Version-6.0As
H/W issue-3

so what exactly is your issue?.

you can adjust the inter digit timer in system timers to shorten the length between digits pressed .

your on the latest firmware for the mfrim 100 anyway as they have stopped doing firmware releases for this system some time ago .

You could program the Prefix dialing table (PGM206).

Set the minimum and maximum digits dialed for every area code and the call connects a great deal faster. It also ignores the Enblock and interdigit timer.

However if you have speech issues after the call connects, this won't be fixed by prefix dial.
