MFC show default values

Hi,
I am facing a bit of a difficulty here.
does any one know how to show default values in the textbox.
for example.
there is the name text box
when i run the application i want the textbox to show my name into it. i.e.
Your name: ahsan786
(the name can be changed by the user)

Create an variable linked with editbox and change its value on initiation.

i know what you mean, you just init the values in the oninit function.
but isn't there like a way... like in vb... where you just go and assign the initial values...???
