We have an NT4 domain with 25 load balanced application servers each running Windows 2000 server. We publish various apps (e.g. MS Access) via one of the application servers without problems. We have recently added another application server which primarily publishes another series of apps. Since this server / additonal published app has gone in we have had an increase in problems refreshing in Program Neighbourhood. In some instances icons for published apps disappear and on other occassions we receive the error: "Unable to establish communication with program neighborhood server component."
We are able to recover this by stopping and starting the prog. neighborhood service but prevention would be better than cure!
