Hi Guys,
I am coming from mainframe background to mf cobol.In mainframe we use jcl to schedule cobol programs. In microfocus I can run the programs manually using runtime . My Question is how to schedule the programs on unix. Do I have to use scripts?.

Look up the 'cron' command. If you are not a system administrator, you might require the assitance of one to set up cron to do what you want.
