It is a HUGE BOOK, Hardcover and VERY BULKY -not possible to carry it around with me to work and such.

I can't speak for the second book you asked about (although I'm sure someone here has read it). Despite the bulk of the All-In-One Exam Guide, 5th Edition, I found it to be not too heavy to carry, and reading it was all I needed to pass the A+.

YMMV, of course.
