Has anyone seen this?

Beginning August 3, 2019, the (Mexico) Federal Telecommunications Institute (IFT), is implementing 10-digit Uniform Marking Plan, changing the way dialing landlines and mobile phones in Mexico.

I have only one TAC (9) to get outside line .. 7 and 8 digits local, 12 digits long distance and national, 13 digit for mobile.

Can anyone direct me to the area to add 10 digit dialing after the TAC code to allow the change?? G3 Version 11 ... Many thanks !!

Look at ARS analysis - change ars analysis location x or just change ars analysis if there is only one location.

Code:
                             ARS DIGIT ANALYSIS TABLE
                                   Location: all Percent Full: 1

Dialed Total Route Call Node ANI
String Min Max Pattern Type Num Reqd
    6 10 10 14 fnpa n
    5 10 10 14 fnpa n
    800 10 10 16 fnpa n

Make sure the Dialed String, Total Min and Max match for the type of call you are making and use the correct Route Pattern for that type. Your ARS Analysis may use "natl" instead of fnpa for the Call Type.

I also suggest you take screen shots before making any changes.... just in case you need to back out your changes. Maybe you can add in a new line or two without changing any existing information and test before changing everything.

Hi RADDAD 2006

You can go to ARS ANA and add this entry

xxxxxxxxxx mín: 10 máx: 10 - route (the route with the trunk group to the PSTN) type: natl

Be sure to know if your trunks are ready to make or receive calls at ten digits.

Best regards!

If you have a SIP carrier you may not have any issue if you continue to send E.164 International numbering. You may have to modify your ARS digit conversion rules however they may already be configured to insert the country code on 10 digit calls.
